There is potential for light hiking and swimming in the area, so consider bringing suitable footwear and/or a swimsuit if you’re into that sort of thing.

It will be tick season in upstate NY this time of year, so if you’re interested in hiking you’ll want to bring long pants, a long sleeved shirt (ideally lighter colors as it’s easier to spot ticks), and enclosed shoes/hiking boots. Basically you want to be fully covered.
